Tips
for Students, Teachers and Parents
When
you need to find resources in a language other than English,
the most effective search is a Language Search. This can be
combined with other search limits, such as books only, or
audiovisual materials. It's best to limit the search to your
school district at first since interlibrary loan is easiest
within the home district.

Tips
for Media Specialists Be
sure to teach students how to combine a Language Search with
other search limiters, such as web sites only, books only,
or reading interest levels. If the results list is too brief,
it is easy to broaden the search. |
