Tips
for Teachers
Start
your search with your school first, then scope up to the district
if necessary. When you find the item you need, print out the
page from SUNLINK. Take it to your school library media specialist
who will request the item by interlibrary loan and let you
know when it arrives.
Use the Quick Search feature in SUNLINK with keywords from
the Sunshine State Standard you are teaching.

Tips
for Media Specialists
Assist
teachers to identify keywords in the SSS to use as search
words. Show them how hotlinked subject headings in the SUNLINK
record may lead to more resources. And be sure they understand
format, interest level, and language search limiters.
Remind teachers that they should preview the all materials
before using them for a lesson.
